Man accused in communal riots held

BERHAMPUR: An accused of the communal riots in Kandhamal district, Dayi Majhi was arrested by personnel of Tumudibandha police station on Thursday. Dayi was a resident of Janaga village of Kutamgada panchayat. Six cases of arson and rioting were pending against him. He was absconding since the communal violence last year. He was forwarded to Baliguda court, where his bail plea was rejected. He was sent to Baliguda jail.
