Mumbai: Hindi-film actor Hrithik Roshan was warned against playing loud music at a late Sunday night party at his suburban Juhu residence. Besides a host of celebrities from the tinsel town, the police too made their appearance at the party, thrown to celebrate the birthday of Pinky Roshan, the actor’s mother, and advised Hrithik not to play loud music. The police reached Hrithik’s 8th floor apartment in Plazzo building in Juhu Vile Parle Development (JVPD) area at around 2.15 a.m. after they received a call complaining of loud music being played at the actor’s house. Crowd gathersThey also found a large group of onlookers outside the building waiting to catch a glimpse of celebrities such as Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Amisha Patel and Shilpa Shetty. “The first call was about a crowd outside the building. Ramachandra Mane, one of our officers, went there and found that a party was being thrown by the Roshans,” Ramesh Sawant, Assistant Police Inspector of Juhu Police Station, told PTI. “There was another call complaining about loud music being played at Hrithik’s flat. We again inspected the place and spoke to Hrithik, who told us that they were winding up the party and that the volume was low,” said Mr. Sawant. “However, we warned Hrithik not to play loud music and do anything that may inconvenience the people,” he said, adding that no complaint was registered as no violation of rules was established. — PTI
