Six mobile battery thieves arrested

NEW DELHI: Six men allegedly involved in theft of batteries from mobile phone towers in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana and Gujarat, have been arrested.

The accused have been identified as Devender Tomar, Mukesh Rajput, Rakesh, Kamal, Miraj and Shamshad. The police said Devender was the mastermind and Miraj and Shamshad receivers of stolen property.
