Dubai: Seven persons from Kerala, who had gone to Bahrain to seek jobs, have been detained at the country’s international airport for possessing fake visas. The men, aged between 21 and 23, who arrived here on Saturday, found that the company that hired them did not exist. An Indian based in Bahrain allegedly sold them the visas with a confirmation from an airline that they would get the original visas on arrival, Gulf Daily News reported. Those detained are Mohammed Jamsheer, Richi Jose, Prashop Alathure, Raghu Alathure, Arun Kumar, Ranjan T. Varghese and Tony Mon, the report said, adding that they had been taken into custody. — PTI
