Flu claims one more victim

Thiruvananthapuram: Laboratory results, on Saturday, confirmed that Shafeeque, 27, of Perumbavoor who died at Ernakulam Cooperative Medical College hospital on Friday had been infected with the H1N1 virus.

He was hospitalised with high fever and severe respiratory distress.

On Friday, Binish, 30, of Puthoor in Thrissur died of H1N1 virus. Seven persons tested positive for H1N1 on Saturday. — Staff Reporter
