CLASS OF ITS OWN: Rajiv Dube (left), President, Passenger Cars, and Rohit Suri, Head, Premier Car Division, Tata Motors, with the newly launched Freelander 2 in Mumbai on Tuesday. MUMBAI: Tata Motors on Tuesday said it would launch the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and the Discovery 4 models from its Jaguar Land Rover stable in November. “The Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Discovery 4 are expected to be launched in India sometime in November,” Tata Motors’ Premier Car Division head Rohit Suri told reporters here. The auto major launched a compact SUV, Freelander 2, and had already closed a few deals, Mr. Suri said. Tata Motors, which already has a showroom in Mumbai, is looking to expand its presence with more showroom openings in Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune and Ludhiana, Mr. Suri said.Freelander 2 will be sold in three variants — S, SE, HSE — ranging from Rs. 33.80 lakh to Rs. 45 lakh. Rajiv Dube, President, Passenger Cars, said the company would have an extensive offering of JLR models in India over a period, including the Defender. — PTI
