NEW DELHI: Monsoon has been active in east Rajasthan.

RAINFALL: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in east Rajasthan, at a few places in Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttrakhand and at isolated places in rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: HARYANA (2 cm and above): Safidon 9, Tohana 7, Dadri 6, Assandh and Kharkhoda 4 each, Ballabhgarh and Ellenabad 3 each and Ambala, Julana and Gohana 2 each, HIMACHAL PRADESH: Baijnath, Dharmapur and Solan 1 each, JAMMU AND KASHMIR: Jammu and Udhampur 2 each, PUNJAB: ( 2 cm and above) Sangrur 13, Samrala and Sunam 7 each, Ropar 4, Amloh 3 and Ludhiana and Samana 2 each, EAST RAJASTHAN: (5 cm and above) Mavli 17, Railmagra 13, Naraina 9, Phagi and Karera 8 each, Ramgarh 7, Udaipur A.P., Paroli and Kotri 6 each and Mozamabad, Pushkar, Sawar, Devli, Badnor, Sahada, Karoikalan, Bagore, Mandalgarh, Rashmi, Badesar, Kelwara and Vallabhnagar 5 each, WEST RAJASTHAN: (3 cm and above) Jaitaran 7, Rajgarh 5, Godraroad and Raipur 4 each and Mohar and Phalodi tehsil 3 each, EAST UTTAR PRADESH: Attara 5, Kanpur FM and Nagina 3 each, Baberu 2 and Etah, Meerut and Jalisar 1 each and UTTRAKHAND: Dharuchula, Nanital and Bausan 2 each and Dehradun, Munsiyari, Rudraprayag and Uttarkahi 1 each.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 13th July 2009: Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand and at isolated places in the rest of the region.
