Deepak and Shaheen to lead

HYDERABAD: G. Deepak Kumar and Shaheen Begum will lead the Andhra Pradesh men’s and women’s teams respectively in the seventh Federation Cup baseball championship to be held in Cuttack from July 12 to 14.

The teams: Men: G. Deepak Kumar (capt), Ch. Sashikanth, G. Kiran Kumar, B. Santosh, Ch. Radha Krishna, Aditya Sanjay, Joel, A. Kaushik, M. Anvesh, E. Bhargavan, S. Sreekanth, N. Srinath Goud, A. Nishanth, Md. Yakub and Kalyan. Coach: L. Rajender. Manager: L. Kishori.

Basketball trials

Ranga Reddy District Basketball Association will organise selection trials on July 11 at National Police Academy (Shivrampally) from 4 p.m. The teams to take part in the 34th Junior inter-District championship for boys and girls, to be held in West Godavari from July 23 to 26, will be picked during the above trials.
