Rafath Habib in semifinals

Chennai: Rafath Habib breezed into the semifinals of the India Cements-SIAA open snooker tournament with a straight-frames quarterfinal win over Balaji Reddy here on Thursday.

The results:

Quarterfinals (best of seven frames): Imran Ganj (MCC) bt Damu Menon (MUC) 70-7, 52-43, 64-53, 76-40; Dilip Kumar (TNBSA) bt Pushparaj (ASCA) 76-42, 35-64, 44-67, 57-15, 87-57, 63-62.

Rafath Habib (SRSA) bt Balaji Reddy (KSBA) 76-14, 70-53, 101-0, 70-22; Loganathan (Q Shot) bt Nadeem Ahmed (GYM) 76-13, 64-16, 60-64, 7-79, 76-45, 69-33.
