AIIMS director visits trauma centre

NEW DELHI: All-India Institute of Medical Sciences director Dr. R. C. Deka on Thursday visited the JPN Apex Trauma Centre and spoke to a number of patients and their attendants to get first-hand information on the quality of treatment being provided to them.

Dr. Deka while expressing satisfaction at the cleanliness and sanitation suggested that air curtains be installed at the entrance of every wing to bring down the infection further.

He was accompanied by JPNATC chief Dr. M. C. Mishra and Institute deputy director (administration) Shailesh Kumar Yadav. The director laid emphasis on his road map to ensure preparedness to handle any eventuality.
