No water supply

Drinking water supply in the city will remain suspended for two days on Friday and Saturday to facilitate repair of the leak in the main pipeline bringing water from the Vaigai dam. According to a corporation press release, normal water supply will be resumed as soon as the leaks are plugged. Corporation Commissioner S. Sebastine, accompanied by other officials, inspected the damage to the pipeline between Thuvariman and Kochadai on Thursday.
