Jamia Millia announces admission to BDS

NEW DELHI: Jamia Millia Islamia has announced admissions to its first batch of Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course offered by its newly-launched Faculty of Dentistry. The five-year course has 50 seats. The last date for submitting application forms is July 17.

Online application form and prospectus can be downloaded from www.jmi.nic.in . A demand draft for Rs.500 has to be submitted along with the completed form.

Admission will be conducted on the basis of a written entrance test to be conducted on July 20 and the list of selected candidates will be displayed on July 22. Counselling and issuing of fee slips will begin from July 23. The fee for the course is Rs.24,910.

The entrance test will comprise 200 multiple choice questions in Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany. An applicant must have passed Class XII or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with not less than 50 per cent marks.
