Nabbed for truck driver’s murder

NEW DELHI: Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of a truck driver at Anand Parbat here this past month. The police received a call on June 23 saying a body was lying near a temple in Anand Parbat. The deceased had deep stab wounds. He was identified as Balvinder Singh, a truck driver. Taking up the investigation, the police arrested Raju Murgewala (24) and his friend Pankaj (20). The two purportedly told the police that they along with two accomplices had robbed Balvinder of Rs.700 in cash and a wristwatch at knife-point. When Balvinder resisted, Raju allegedly stabbed him.
