KOCHI: The CPI(ML) Red Flag will take out a march on July 14 protesting against the Union Budget presented by Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee. Addressing a press meet in this regard, Jayakumar M. S., general secretary of CPI(ML), said that the budget promotes more private partnership in public projects that will make it difficult for poor people to make a living. It has more for the rich unlike what the United Progressive Alliance government terms it as for the aam admi (common man). When America and other capitalist countries are trying to bring in corporates under public sector, the Manmohan Singh government is moving towards privatisation. The country is managing to face the recessionary period only because many of its developmental and banking projects are in the public sector.
