Girl’s death sparks protest; jawan held

SRINAGAR: Locals took to the streets in Trehgam in Kupwara on Thursday after the death of a college girl. A Territorial Army jawan was arrested for allegedly attempting to molest her.

The girl was found dead by her family shortly after she raised an alarm when some persons intruded into her room in the early hours. — PTI
