Forest officials rescue two deer

Tiruvannamalai: On Wednesday and Thursday three thirsty deer venturing into surrounding villages in search of water got themselves into trouble.

Two deer, which fell in farm wells at Keezh Palanandhal and Kaveriyampoondi villages were rescued by Forest officials.

However, a deer which strayed into Aanaippiranthan village on Thursday was hounded by street dogs and forest officials were able to recover only the carcass of the animal.
