Demand to hike commission

KOCHI: The State government should pay retail ration dealers their dues and increase their commission, the All-Kerala Retail Ration Dealers’ Association has said.

Addressing mediapersons here on Thursday, association general secretary R. Radhakrishnan said the government had asked them to distribute for Rs.2, the rice that they had purchased at a higher price. The association would accord a reception to Union Minister of State for Agriculture K.V. Thomas and other MPs from the district.
