Admission: scrutiny soon

Staff Reporter

KOCHI: The Admission Supervisory Committee for Professional Colleges, headed by P.A. Mohammed, will start the scrutiny of documents submitted by the Kerala Christian Professional College Managements Federation and the Kerala Private Medical College Managements Association regarding the admission to professional medical colleges this academic year here on July 13.

The Federation has submitted the open merit list, details of all applicants and the list of applicants it found ineligible for admission. The Association has provided details of the entrance test it conducted and rank list prepared by it.

Based on the scrutiny, the Federation and the Association may have to produce more documents to verify the transparency in the conduct of entrance test and their decision regarding eligibility. Further decisions will be taken at the next meeting of the committee.
