Malathi Holla’s experiences

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: “Having an inferiority complex is the biggest disability. This is truly the most unforgettable day of my life. Looks like all the trauma has finally come to an end.” These were the words of Malathi K. Holla, paraplegic sportswoman, at the launch of her authorised biography in Bangalore on Wednesday.

“Never lose hope as nothing is impossible. An inferiority complex is something that must not exist in any individual, for which we must approach everything with a positive mindset,” was her message to the people with disabilities. The biography titled A Different Spirit talks about the prejudices she faced through her childhood.

Ananth Krishnan M., Head, Corporate Communication, Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd., has written the book. The book is published by the Inspired India Foundation, and can be ordered only through www.adifferentspirit.com.
