Somalian attacks Inspector

HYDERABAD: Reportedly angered over being told not to smoke, a Somalian student, Hasan Daher Mohd., 23, attacked a Special Branch Inspector (Foreigners Branch), Anjaiah, at the S.B. office in Purani Haveli on Wednesday.
Mohd. is pursuing B.Com. in Anwarl-ul-Uloom Degree College. He came to the S.B. office with his friend. As he was smoking standing close to the visitors room, a constable told him it was a no smoking zone. But the Somalian entered into an argument with the constable.
On hearing the din, the Inspector came out and told Mohd. to stop smoking or leave the place. “Angered over this, the Somalian attacked the Inspector as he was proceeding to his room,” Mirchowk Inspector S. Mohan Kumar, said.
