Two murdered in car, police suspect enmity

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: Two persons were found murdered in a car abandoned at Harinagar in Subramanyapura police station limits on Wednesday.

The police gave the names of the victims as Naveen (20), an accused in three cases of assault in Channapatna and his friend Girish (21), a merchant from Puradahalli.

A police constable on night patrol found the car abandoned at Harinagar. When he went close with the torch, he found the bodies of Naveen and Girish in the car.

The police said Naveen, his father Varda, and his brother Santosh, have been involved in criminal cases. Just after the murder of Santosh three months ago, Naveen tipped off the police on a massage parlour run by his rivals Muthukrishna and others, who are his rivals. The police raided the parlour. The police suspect involvement of Muthukrishna and friends in the murder.
