HYDERABAD: A wide range of discounts across different branded products are on offer at the ongoing ‘Mega Brands of India’ expo put up at Nizam College grounds in Basheer Bagh.

The expo featuring 60 brands across different categories in 200 stalls mainly hosts electronic and interior exhibitors, said K.V. Chaitanya, managing director of Mega Brands Events Management Pvt. Ltd.

“While In Style furniture is offering 50 per cent discount on different products, one can get Malaysian massage chairs for 20 per cent of the cost and furniture from Zuari at 30 per cent discount,” he says.

That apart, electronic giants like Videocon has special discounts on its products and Bosch is offering a jet washer at Rs.9,900 against the market price of Rs.13,625. Well-known furniture company Nilkamal is selling its wares at “dealer price”.

“This is the first time we are organising this exhibition in the city. We also have two clients from Pakistan and Thailand,” Mr. Chaitanya said.

“Customers can make good use of the discounts being offered at the expo. Owing to the recession, many brands are selling their goods at cheaper prices,” he added.

Apart from consumer electronics like refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, microwave ovens, music systems, customers can also shop for kitchenware, treadmills, wall hangings, indoor fountains with smoke mechanism, teakwood décor, solar appliances, sewing machines, apparels and footwear among others. There are also special offers on each particular day. The exhibition will be on till July 13.
