HYDERABAD: Offering a complete shopping experience and a wide range of cuisine to tickle the palate, the first phase of the much-awaited ‘Night Bazaar’ at Shilparamam will become operational to coincide with Dasara festivities. The second phase of the bazaar is to be called ‘Shilpasandhya Vedika’. The new Vedika is coming up on the right side of the popular leisure spot, Shilparamam, which already has Shilpakala Vedika on the other side. According to officials, a total of 150 stalls along with food courts are planned for the ‘Night Bazaar’ on the three-acre site. Thematic zonesThe bazaar’s layout has been divided into four thematic zones: Stone Age, Vedic Age, Sultanate and Modern. Each of these zones will have 30 to 40 stalls representing the theme. The Adhunik will have contemporary modern furniture, electronic goods and textiles as well as food courts offering a cuisine to complement it such as fast food, pizza, etc. Sultanate will have stalls offering carpets, shawls, pearls and its food courts will provide biryani, kebabs and lassi, officials explained. The project will come up as ground plus one-storied structure with cellar parking . Shilparamam has already invited those interested in operating stalls and food courts for the first phase and August 27 is the last date for submitting tenders. The bazaar is like a shopping rendezvous and the idea is to keep it open from 3 p.m. to 3 a.m., subject to approval.
