ETA CMS-I’s claims management service

Brings in Malaysian technology solutions


CHENNAI: The directors of West Asia Exports & Imports and CMS-I Systems Berhad have announced the formation of a joint venture “ETA CMS I Solutions Pvt. Ltd.” for developing an integrated motor claims management service.

Addressing presspersons here on Monday, Syed Zefilen AlEdros, Director, ETA CMS I-Solutions, said the joint venture would bring in proven technology solutions developed in Malaysia to the Indian motor insurance market. According to Kevin Steer, Executive Director ETA CMS I-Solutions, the joint venture was designed to provide an end-to-end service to the insured in times of a road accident by integrating the claims process with the technology from CMS I-Systems of Malaysia and the expertise from the Indian partner.

The joint venture will have an initial capital of Rs. 10 crore with the Malaysian outfit holding 70 per cent stake and West Asia Exports & Imports the balance 30 per cent.
