Four arrested in ward member’s murder case
Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD: The murder of S. Janga Reddy, 40, ward member of Dommaiguda panchayat in Keesara on city outskirts on June 19, was the result of a business dispute he had with his real estate business partner, R. Sai Kumar, police said on Tuesday.
Reddy and Kumar developed differences over sharing profits of a real estate venture. Kumar hatched a plot to eliminate Reddy and offered a plot of 100 square yards each to four of his accomplices to execute the plan. They waylaid Reddy while he was returning home on a bike, attacked him with knives and steel pipes and fled. The Cyberabad police led by Inspector T. Radha Kishan Rao, caught the five accused on a tip-off and handed over them to Keesara police.
