HC lawyer arrested in dowry case

KOLAR: Gulpet police have arrested Imthiyaz, a lawyer at Karnataka High Court, for allegedly harassing his wife, Ayesha Salma, for more dowry. According to a complaint lodged by her parents, Ms. Ayesha had an abortion owing to ill treatment by Imthiyaz, a resident of Gattahalli in Holur hobli. The police have placed Mr. Imthiyaz in judicial custody. — Staff Correspondent
