Talks on folk varsity

Chitradurga: Chairman of Karnataka Janapada Academy Go. Ru. Channabasappa has said that he had discussed the issue of setting up a Janapada university in the State with Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa.

He was speaking after inaugurating a seminar on Nadoja award-winner folk artiste the late Sirajji, organised by Abhiruchi Literary and Cultural Forum in association with the academy and the Postgraduate Centre, Chitradurga, here on Sunday.

He said that the academy had also prepared a plan in this regard.
