Ambulance needed
Paramakudi is an accident-prone zone on the NH49 Madurai – Rameswaram road.
Frequent fatal accidents are taking place.
It is painful to note that there is no ambulance in Paramakudi Government Hospital.
The ambulance was in a condemned stage. To save the life of accident victims, we need an ambulance service.

Set up traffic signal light
The Keelakarai road junction adjoining the Madurai-Rameshwaram National Highway in front of the Travellers Bungalow in Ramanathapuram is an important junction where a large number of vehicles pass through everyday; but there is no traffic signal.
As this is an important road junction, I appeal to the district administration to install traffic signal lights immediately.
The narrow stretch of the road in this part could be widened if the compound wall of the highways travellers bungalow which is in a very bad shape is demolished and about two metres of additional land is given for the main road.
