Rs. 2.8 cr. for junior colleges in UK district

Sirsi: Primary and Secondary Education Minister Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri said that Rs. 2.80 crore has been released for the construction of junior colleges in Uttara Kannada district. The details of the grants given to various colleges are as under: Rs. 54.08 lakh for Kolsirsi Junior college; Rs. 15.12 lakh to each of the junior colleges at Agasur, Malagi, Nanikatta, Baad, Gullapur, Mundgod and Manki; and Rs. 22.67 lakh to each of the junior colleges at Tergaon, Kirawatti, Kolgibis and Kadwad.

The Deputy Commissioner has been instructed to see to it that the work done is of good quality.
