Woman run over by RTC bus

HYDERABAD: A 27-year-old woman was crushed to death under the wheels of an RTC bus at Esamia Bazaar on Sunday afternoon.

K. Radhika, a resident of Hussaini Alam, was going towards Chaderghat along with her mother, Manemma, on a two-wheeler after attending a matrimonial meet when the driver drove the bus in a negligent manner and rammed into them resulting in grievous injuries to her.

She was rushed to a nearby private hospital where doctors declared her brought dead, police said.

Manemma, however, escaped unhurt.
