Responsible role: Mayor S. Sujatha handing over sash to a student in Tiruchi. TIRUCHI: A colourful investiture ceremony was held at the Holy Cross College here recently. Mayor and alumna of the college, S. Sujatha was the chief guest for the function. She presented sashes to the newly-elected members of the students’ council. Ms. Sujatha spoke on the qualities of a good leader. She administered the oath to student leaders. Valsamma Antony, Reader in Commerce, and Hema, president of the students’ council, spoke. Principal Sr. G. Sarguna was present.
