Hariharasudhan, Jeyasri win titles

TIRUCHI: S. Hariharasudhan (Srirangam Railway Recreation Club) and T. Jeyasri (Savitri Vidyasala Hindu Girls HSS) won the men’s and women’s titles respectively at the N. Venkatesan Naidu Memorial District-level ranking table tennis tournament, organised by the Tiruchi District Naidu Mahajana Sangam, here on Sunday.

The results (all finals):

Men: S. Hariharasudhan (SRRC) bt K. Thivakaran (RSK HSS) 11-9, 11-13, 11-7, 11-7.

Boys: Juniors: K. Thivakaran bt S.S. Suraj (RSK HSS) 11-5, 11-6, 11-7. Sub-juniors: F. Alan Richards (Campion AI HSS) bt Leo Aldrin Raj (Campion) 11-6, 11-4, 11-8.

Women: T. Jeyasri (SVS) bt S. Priyadarshini (Musiri Sports Centre) 11-8, 11-6, 7-11, 8-11, 13-11.

Veterans: S. Ravichander (SBI) bt S. Abdul Kalam Azad (SRI) 11-7, 12-10, 11-8, 11-9.

Open doubles: P.K. Sugumaran & S. Tharun bt S. Kumaran & S. Hariharasudhan 11-7, 8-11, 13-11, 13-11.
