Coimbatore: Salem’s C. Ashwin defeated Roshan Zameer of Vellore 21-11, 22-20 and entered the men’s singles final in the Aircel Tamil Nadu senior State-ranking badminton tournament at the Jenney Club courts here on Sunday. In the final, Ashwin will take on Vijay Anand, who scored a hard fought 16-21, 22-20, 21-18 win over S. Subramaniam of Pudukottai. Other results: Men’s doubles (semifinals): C.
