Erode
ERODE: Government Music School, Erode, has called for applications for a three-year course. A release from the School says interested candidates, both male and female, between 13 and 25 years can apply for the course, which is offered in singing, nadaswaram, thavil, Thevaram, bharatanatyam, violin and mrudhangam. At the end of the training period, the release says the School will give a government certificate. It adds that for candidates from weaker sections scholarships are available.
