CHENNAI: V. Jeevan won the boys’ under-12 singles at the Augustine Thomas Cup State-ranking tennis tournament here on Saturday, beating L. Kumar Lokesh 6-3, 6-2 in the final. R. Preeth Kumar beat L. Aakash Bharath in the boys’ under-10 category. The results: Boys’ singles u-12 final: V. Jeevan bt L. Kumar Lokesh 6-3, 6-2; u-10 final: R. Preeth Kumar bt L. Aakash Bharath 8-0. Girls’ singles u-14 semifinal: R. Binu bt M. Pritikarini 6-3, 6-0.
