Railway budget criticised

Special Correspondent

VISAKHAPATNAM: Leader of Opposition in Legislative Council and senior Telugu Desam leader Dadi Veerabhadra Rao demanded the 33 Congress MPs in Lok Sabha to boycott the Budget session to protest the injustice done to Andhra Pradesh in the Railway budget.

In view of the very less allocations made to Andhra Pradesh in spite of the Chief Minster Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy reportedly making efforts to get more benefit for the State and the Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee’s statement that she had accepted all the suggestions made by him, Dr. Reddy should give an explanation, Mr. Veerabhadra Rao demanded while talking to reporters at Anakapalle on Saturday.
