Four killed, 3 injured in road accident

HYDERABAD: Four persons got killed while three others sustained serious injuries when the autorickshaw they were travelling in was hit by an oncoming lorry on Tondupally main road in Parigi of Ranga Reddy district on Saturday evening.

The three-wheeler was going from Parigi side to Shadnagar in Mahabubnagar district when the lorry belonging to Maharashtra rammed into it around 6.30 p.m. The victims were identified as N. Narsimhulu, 35, of Parigi, B. Srinivas, 30, of Singur in Medak and Gopal, 28, of Topuguda in Shankarpally. The identity of the fourth man aged about 35 years was not yet known.

Three members of the same family — J. Anjaneyulu, J. Venkatamma and J. Anjamma — who were critically injured, were shifted to Osmania General Hospital.

Doctors said their condition was critical.
