Thief on bus caught red handed, arrested

TIRUCHI: A 40-year-old man who stole gold jewels from a bus passenger was caught red handed and later arrested here on Friday. The accused M. Selvaraj stole over 12 sovereigns of gold jewellery from one S. Adaikkappan while the latter was boarding a bus at the central bus stand when he was caught. The Cantonment Crime Police has registered a case.
