Kathadi Ramamurthy felicitated

CHENNAI: Speakers at a function organised by the Appusami-Seethapatti Humour Trust on Saturday hailed veteran theatre actor Kathadi Ramamurthy’s contribution to plays in the humour genre.

Felicitating Ramamurthy, Dean and Director of PSBB Group of Schools Mrs. Y.G. Parthasarathy said her husband Y.G. Parthasarathy was instrumental in Ramamurthy starting his own troupe.

Actor and MLA S.Ve. Shekher said Ramamurthy started staging plays when there were not many facilities nearly 45 years ago.
