Lady doctor still unfit for statement

NEW DELHI: Dr. Rupa, the young gynaecologist who according to the Delhi police attempted suicide after allegedly injecting her twin daughters with a poisonous substance in Pitampura here on Wednesday, is still unfit for recording her statement. “Though her condition is said to be stable, she is still not fit to give her statement,” said a police officer on Saturday. The woman had walked out of her home along with the kids purportedly after a tiff with her doctor husband Rajiv Ranjan.
