VISAKHAPATNAM: Spinners took the centre-stage on the second day of the North Zone versus South Zone round-robin match in the ACA inter-zone under-19 tournament at the Port Stadium here on Saturday. South’s left-arm off-spinner C. Vinod Kumar, with a six-wicket haul was instrumental in restricting North to 113. When South batted, North’s off-spinner S.H. Srinivas picked up five wickets. At the end of the day, South was well-placed at 189 for nine. The scores: North 113 in 57.4 overs (C. Vinod Kumar six for 29) vs. South 189 for nine in 75 overs (M. Rahamtullah 45 batting, B. Siva Charan Singh 31, Y. Premsagar 28, P. Narendra Reddy 28, S.H. Srinivas five for 63).
