Livestock yard
On instructions from Collector P. Umanath, Superintendent of Police, N. Kannan and supervision of Joint Director of Animal Husbandry, the drive was carried out by SPCA officials with the help of Coimbatore Corporation.
The drive focussed on places such as Peelamedu, Neelikonampalayam, Sowripalayam, Uppiliplayam and other nearby areas. The goats were taken to the livestock yard at the SPCA.
