Mother, kids end life

VIZIANAGARAM: In a suicide pact, a housewife and her two daughters have reportedly jumped into Vattigedda reservoir at Raawada village in Jiyyammavalasa mandal.
The police found the bodies of Alabonu Chinnammalu (35), Durga (8) and Divya (5) in the reservoir on Saturday. According to police, the woman must have pushed the children first and then jumped into the reservoir following harassment by her liquor addict husband A. Ramulu, who was absconding.
The family migrated to the village from Alivenipeta village in Koduru mandal in Srikakulam district eight months ago for livelihood. They were working in a quarry.
Police registered a case and are investigating.
