Varun Sandesh VIJAYAWADA: Moviegoers who watched the AVM’s latest release ‘Evaraina Epudaina Premalo Padochchu…’ in the city theatres on Saturday had a pleasant surprise when the film’s lead actor Varun Sandesh and director Marthand Sankar appeared amidst them and interacted with them to know their response to the film. Welcoming the film crew with whistles and hoots, the viewers vied with one another to have a close glimpse of the young hero, who came into the limelight with Sekhar Kammula’s ‘Happy Days’ and later scored a hit as a solo hero with Dil Raju’s ‘Kotta Bangaru Lokam.’ Varun, who appeared to be on Cloud Nine, signed autographs and posed for photographs with his ‘fans,’ who assured him that the movie was a ‘bumper hit’. Sharing his ecstasy with the media at a press conference at INOX theatre complex, the young hero thanked the audience for making the film a success. “This film is totally different from my previous ones. I played the role of a college student in my earlier films, whereas I am a happy-go-lucky youth in this movie. This role is more energetic. I tried a couple of dance sequences and fights too,” he said proudly. The distributors too were happy with the collections, he said, and expressed confidence that the film would become a big hit on the line of his earlier films. Crooning a few lines of the song ‘Vaanemo…’ from the film, for which he lent his voice, Varun Sandesh said that it was quite a new experience for him to sing a song. To a question on his future plans, the actor said he would do a film for ‘Anand Arts’ soon. “The title of the film is not ‘Vijeta’ as reported in a section of the media. In fact, the title is yet to be decided. The details will come out in a couple of weeks,” he said. Marthand Sankar expressed happiness over getting an opportunity to work with production house like the AVM, which produced a film after a long gap.
