Three more flu cases confirmed

Thiruvananthapuram: The number of confirmed cases of Influenza A (HINI) in the State has gone up to nine, with two more cases in Kozhikode and another one in Ernakulam testing positive on Saturday. The National Institute of Communicable Diseases, New Delhi, gave the test results on Saturday night.

A passenger who had arrived on a Dubai flight at the airport here on Thursday and had been quarantined at the General Hospital here has tested negative, health officials said.

Ten persons, including four confirmed cases, have been kept under quarantine at Ernakulam.
