Spiritual course for prisoners

Coimbatore: Sree Saraswathi Thyagaraja College, Pollachi, in association with Coimbatore Central Prison officials have drafted a psycho-spiritual development programme for the inmates of the Coimbatore Central Prison.

A release from the college said that the year round-programme consists of seven modules and will be imparted in a group of 20 to 25 prisoners.

The main focus of the programme would be to give the prisoners meaning and purpose for their existence, identify some better life and goals and reform their life for a better future.
