TDP stages dharna against fuel price hike

VIZIANAGARAM: The TDP town committee on Saturday staged a dharna at tahsildar’s office here against fuel price hike. P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju, TDP polit bureau member and MLA, who participated in the dharna, criticised the government for failing to control prices. The hike in fuel prices would have a direct bearing on the economy of common man. Already, they were burdened with spiralling prices of essential commodities and the price hike would worsen the situation. The UPA Government reduced fuel prices just before elections for votes. Party leaders Prasadula Ramakrishna, M. Mutyala Rao, S. Trinadha Rao, Suvvada Satyanarayana and others participated.
