Swami Vivekananda remembered

Udhagamandalam: Under the aegis of Manas, a spiritual organisation, the 107th death anniversary of Swami Vivekananda was observed at Kasturiba Colony, near here, on Saturday.

Paying homage to the spiritual leader, the Coordinator, Manas V. Sivadass, said that he had worked relentlessly for the uplift of the downtrodden.

The Secretary, Public Awareness Association of Udhagamandalam, G. Janardhanan, also spoke.

Distribution of books, pens etc to poor students marked the occasion.
