Good start: Dharmapuri Collector P. Amutha flagging off mobile science lab at the Collectorate on Saturday. DHARMAPURI: A mobile science laboratory was flagged off by Collector P. Amutha here on Saturday. Re-modelledThe mobile laboratory has been re-modelled as per the instructions of R. Venkatesan, Project Director, SSA, with equipment for physics, chemistry, biology and social science. A release issued by Chief Education Officer (Sarva Siksha Abiyan) said that science teachers manning the laboratory would explain the tests in simple manner to students. Middle schoolsThe mobile laboratory would travel to 40 selected middle schools in Pennagaram and Palacode panchayat unions. It would be available for a day for each school. Palaniammal, Assistant Education Officer, had been appointed as in-charge for the mobile laboratory. Chief Education Officer S. Suganya, District Primary Education Officer N. Thirunavukkarasu and students from Avvain Nagar Panchayat Union Middle School participated at the function, the release added.
