193 police recruits pass out in Dharmapuri

DHARMAPURI: The passing out parade of 193 police recruits was held at the Dharmapuri Police Training School on Friday.

N. Thamizhselvan, Commander, Tamil Nadu Commando Battalion, inspected the parade. He presented shield to A. Vinothkumar for his overall best performance.

During the four-month training, recruits were taught physical exercises, karate, yoga and two-wheeler and four wheeler riding. They will be posted at the taluk police stations for on-the-job training for a month before being absorbed into regular service.

As many as 3,972 police recruits were given training in 27 police training schools across the State from March.
